Overview

The new PSS5 is a new development in the field of Dryer fabric seaming based on the experience of the well proven PSS5 machine, now in operation for several years.

Existing components have been redesigned to the requirements of modern fabrics. New components have been added to increase seaming performance and to push efficiency to a new level.

  • Single double and triple layer fabric capability using flat, oval or round yarns
  • WIS windows based “splice point design” software
  • Spring box for weft thread tensioning
  • Fully electronic Stäubli Jacquard LX 62V width JC-7 controller and 192 threads
  • Touch screen operator interface
  • Adjustable harness with 192 threads
  • Double transfer arm for defined transfer of the warp to the interlace gripper
  • Possibility to seam warp thread into spiral from top and bottom
  • Different seam press widths – according to start-up fabric
